2020 Election

November 2020

Reflections on the 2020 Campaign &
Thanks to all of those who supported my candidacy

2020 Montana House District 62 election result showing Ed Stafman

With the official 2020 results complete, I am deeply grateful for the support shown by voters, volunteers, hosts, donors, friends and neighbors throughout House District 62.

The campaign began before COVID-19 changed daily life. Early meet-and-greet gatherings gave me the chance to explain why I was running, hear concerns from people across the community and build the support needed for the race. When the pandemic arrived, the campaign shifted toward literature delivery, phone conversations and socially distanced outreach.

Nearly 90% of voters in the district participated. I was honored by the many families who displayed yard signs, the hundreds who publicly supported the campaign and the many people who contributed their time or resources. That community effort made this campaign possible.

I remain thankful to everyone who helped along the way, and especially to my family and campaign team. The trust placed in me carried a responsibility to serve Montana with integrity, compassion and a willingness to work with others.
